How To: Create FTP account

Log in to your control panel: http://cp.yourdomain.tld  <-- replace yourdomain.tld with your domain name

Click the little ‘plus’ sign next to ‘My Domains’ in the Helm Navigation menu.

When the list refreshes, Click your domain name.
When the 'Edit Domain' screen appears, click the 'FTP Accounts' Icon

Click Add button in blue bar, just below your domain name.

Enter the UserName: YourDomain <-- use your domain name WITHOUT the .tld
IMPORTANT: If your domain name is: MyDomain.com ... the UserName should be: MyDomain
If you need to create more than one FTP account, the second and subsequent UserNames would be: MyDomain01, MyDomain02, etc.
NOTE: In order to maintain and keep up with FTP users, the server will periodically sweep (delete) all FTP UserNames that don't follow the conventions above.

Enter the Password and Confirm Password.

Path: Click the little folder at the end of the textbox to see all of your folders. Your website is in the www folder.
If you leave just the backslash ' \ ', this user will have access to ALL folders and files. This is fine for you, the owner.
If you have someone that works on your site, you might create a second account for them and give them access to only the www folder.

Make sure both Access Rights choices are CHECKED and click Save..

You have created an FTP account. You may now use your favorite FTP software to connect to your site.
Your FTP site address will be:   ftp://YourDomain.tld  <-- replace YourDomain.tld with your domain name
